This class is an introduction to hand weaving where children will learn basic weaving techniques and get an overview of the different types of materials used in weaving. In addition children learn about the many things — both practical and beautiful — made through weaving and the various countries where weaving is practiced. Each child will make , a bag, a pillow case cover, a scarf and wall tapestry. Loom used: Floor looms

This class is an introduction to hand weaving where children will learn how to weave on a lap and floor loom. Various techniques and textures of weaving will be taught. Emphasis will be on shaping 2-dimensional woven material into 3-dimensional forms such as jellyfish and cocoons. Children will learn about these different subjects as they exist in nature and will be encourage to be creative.

This class is an introduction to creating woven fabrics on table and floor looms. Students will learn basic weaving techniques, interrelation of yarns, colors weave a structure in a fabric design. Students will take inspirational colors from nature and interpret into woven designs.
