This class is an introduction to weaving and bookbinding. Students will weave a woven fabric and will use the woven fabric as the cover of the book. The book can be an artist book, photograph book or a scrap book

Children’s Birthday Parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday with something fun, creative, and educational! Children will learn basic weaving techniques and take home their woven designs. Please supply your own food, drink, and party materials.

Basic charge $300 per party + $70 materials fee - 2 1/2 hours long for 8 children
For each additional child, add $20 - maximum 10 children

Weaving Parties Adult

The Weaving Hand offers a great party venue. Bring your friends, food and choice of beverages, and we will provide a great ambiance and an introduction to weaving that will spark conversation and creativity.

Basic charge $350 per party +$70 materials fee - 3 hours long for 8 adults
For each additional adult, add $25 - maximum 10 adults

Drop-In Weaving Class

Studio Policies

All registration sales are final. No reimbursements will be given after the second week of class. Reimbursements must be submitted in writing before the second class. Reimbursements fees may not be transferred to another semester.

If a class is missed due to an emergency, students will be allowed to attend one make up class within the same session. Arrangements must be made in advance.
